Project Highlight: Battleship Texas Refurbishment
Our Turn to Serve
Valkor Marine is 2 years into its project with the Battleship Texas Foundation and the State of Texas. As part of its civic duty, Valkor took on this project by matching the price quoted for scrapping the vessel, but agreeing to reskin and refurbish this piece of history for another 50 years +. The Texas was transported to a local fabrication yard, where it is now undergoing the structural and cosmetic work. We anticipate having the ship back in museum service in 2023.
